Ipswich are being linked with a move for Daizen Maeda and reportedly want a quick deal for the Japanese International. Daizen has been honest about his wishes for a move to the EPL this summer and it looks like Ipswich will be the team to offer that. There are a number of teams interested in securing the Celtic winger but at this time it looks like Ipswich are the favourites after making their move.

The question now is how much will Celtic get for the deal? With Daizen about to turn 29 and having a year left on his contract it might not be as much as quoted last summer. Potentially Celtic would be looking for a fee around £15 million. Whether that offer comes forward is another thing. With several clubs interested and Ipswich keen to wrap the transfer up the club should stand firm on their valuation for one of our key assets.
