The club are expecting interest after a strong World Cup, however the Daily Record are claiming that Celtic are not looking to sell Johnston this summer so it would take a strong offer to bring the club to the table. With three years left on his deal the club will be relatively relaxed as they know they are in a strong position.

Keeping Johnston this summer looks difficult with the interest from down south. Maybe he would expect new terms and fresh deal despite having three years left on his current one. He should be made one of the top earners at the club and considered for the captaincy after Callum leaves the club. A consistent quality player who would be a big miss to Celtic should he indeed leave the club this summer.
